Twenty-Five Days of Christmas – Reason for the Season

While I have a hard time believing that Christ was born on Dec 25th, I fully get the reason for the season. So today we have songs that are much more traditional and some of my favorite pictures included.

My mother had this statue when I was growing up. It always brought out the right side in our holiday celebration. Forget the presents for the moment and simply believe in the possibility of true Christmas Spirit.

For Christmas I decided to run a special, like I did last year for Halloween, something every day in celebration of the upcoming holiday. This will be my family’s first Christmas in Winston-Salem and the first in seven years with the possibility of snow, at least more than sad little flakes that melt before they hit the ground.
